Our goal is to provide a safe environment where preschoolers can learn more about themselves, the world and how God loves them unconditionally.
Hello there and welcome! My name is Shannon Weinman.
I have the privilege to serve as your Sunday Morning Preschool Coordinator. Under the leadership of our Elders and the Children’s Minister, my job is to encourage and come alongside the parents of preschoolers at CFC. As parents to 3 young kiddos ourselves, my husband and I know how important it is to have other Godly influences in our children’s lives at this critical stage of development. I am so blessed to lead a team of compassionate and servant-hearted volunteers who work tirelessly to sow the truth of God’s Word into these young hearts.
Our Sunday morning program
Our Sunday morning program seeks to come alongside parents as they lay a spiritual foundation for their child’s faith. We do this by tying Christ into a variety of activities that also nurture their physical, emotional, sensory, cognitive, social, language, and motor development. We also provide parents with a simple but effective tool for following up each Sunday’s teaching with our Rock Reader Bookmarks. These guide parents to model and lead their preschoolers in the discipline of daily time reading the Bible and prayerfully considering what God is teaching them through it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What basic activities can a child expect?
Your child will have a meaningful time of prayer and memory verse instruction with the class. They will also have fun by participating in crafts, songs, and games that reinforce the Bible Lesson they will be taught that morning.
Where will a child check in & be picked up?
You will check your child into our computer system in front of the gym, then follow the signs to the preschool building on the left through the black gates. Here you’ll find their modular classroom where you drop off your child to their teachers. You’ll return to the same classroom and teachers for check-out as you pick up your child.
Who will be caring for or leading our kids?
Your preschooler will be entrusted to screened and trained volunteers from the CFC Body. These volunteers will take them to and from the Bible Lesson as well as lead them in all the activities that correlate with that Sunday’s Bible Lesson. These volunteers are supported by a team of coordinators and myself during services so if any needs arise, they have great resources available at a moment’s notice.
When a child leaves, what do we want them to “take away” from their experience?
When your preschooler leaves, we want them to have learned that “Church” is a place where people know your name, care about your needs, and help you understand the Bible.
