Care groups for those struggling with or affected by addiction

Within the Be Transformed Ministry there are 2 different programs each designed to meet the needs of those struggling with, or impacted by, substance or non-substance abuse (including pornography, gambling, eating disorders, etc.).

Participants in each program will spend time in a caring environment, sharing their experiences and exploring what God’s Word says about addiction.

Registration is not required, join us at any time!

This is an excellent opportunity for men and women to study God’s Word. The in-person BSF men’s group meets on Monday nights at CFC. There are various day & evening women’s classes throughout Jacksonville. Also, there are online options for those who prefer not to meet in person or who may be homebound. If you are interested, visit their website for more information and to register.

It is a reality that many in our families, churches, workplaces and communities regularly experience trials and hardships in life. As Christ-followers we are all called to help by bearing one another’s burdens, by admonishing the unruly, encouraging the fainthearted, and helping the weak, while being patient with all (Galatians 6:2; 1 Thess. 5:14). However, it is also a reality that many in the church believe they are not equipped to carry out these God given responsibilities. Our goal is to glorify God by equipping lay men and women and church and pastoral staff to better serve those hurting and in need in the church body.

The Hope Center at Christian Family Chapel offers Counselor Training each year.

Take this opportunity to gather with others and learn about CFC. This four-week class will teach you about who we are, our core beliefs and values, and allow you to hear from some of our pastors and ministry and leaders.

Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a method to read the Bible and discover what it has to say using simple questions. Learn to facilitate a DBS or bring along someone who is willing to read the Bible, but not yet in faith. Come study the book of Joshua with us and see how God lead the Israelites into the promised land to take possession of it. We will see how God was with them each step of the way and how He will be with us, during each step of our journey through life. He tells us to “be strong and courageous.”

DBS class will meet on Thursdays, and we will be focusing on the life of Joshua.
