SUMMARY:Discovery Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a simple and powerful way to explore the Bible with others—especially those who may be curious about faith in Jesus but are not yet committed. Using a set of straightforward\, repeatable questions\, DBS helps participants discover God’s truth directly from Scripture. Those unfamiliar with the Bible are encouraged to join. Come learn how to lead a DBS group or bring a friend who is open to reading the Bible but not yet following Christ. In these classes\, we see the Bible come alive and discover the excitement of God’s Word\, as each verse and chapter speaks applicable truth to our hearts and lives\, bringing us joy and peace in the Lord. \nWe will be studying the Gospel of Mark that 40 times emphasizes\, Immediate obedience- an urgent\, prompt action in response to Jesus’ call. True discipleship involves abandoning our former lives without delay to follow Jesus and to obey Him and in so doing\, we find joy\, peace and purpose in our lives. \nJoin us Thursday Evenings at 6:30PM in Room D2  \nSpring 2026: Thursdays\, April 16th – July 2nd\, Times: 6:30-8PM
