Ryan has a passion for people to come into a reconciled relationship with Jesus and experience the love, forgiveness and meaning to life he himself has experienced. After following Jesus throughout his childhood and teen years, while in college he found himself far from God on a 2-year journey into various addictions and sins. Yet, God never let him go and one day, God gave him the power to repent and be set free! Since then he considers himself a work-in-progress and is thankful for the Lord's ongoing correction and work on his life.
He and his wife Holly have been married since 2001 (college love-birds) and since have been blessed with 3 children, Josiah, Abram and Nevaeh. He affectionately calls them either his "smallest disciples" or "crazies" depending on the moment.
Ryan received a Masters of Divinity from Columbia International University and has served Christ in various pastoral roles over the past 17 years. His ministry has taken many forms from reaching millennials, to discipleship, to planting 2 churches in Indiana and Iowa. He has also seen God open unique opportunities for him to serve such as an NBA D-League team chaplain as well as share God's Word on news outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, etc.
At CFC, Ryan gives oversight to CFC’s Equipping and Global Impact ministries, the prayer ministry, as well as, filling in for our teaching pastor regularly in the worship services.
