MISSIONCON 2020 OFFERING

 

 

 

1. ANDREE, DEBORAH Support

$3600 - needed to be fully funded for 2020

 

2.  ARNOLD, RICK & ELISABETH Project

$3,500  - To tear down and rebuild the hut where Jesus Followers meet in the Arnold's yard. 

 

3. BLYTHE, MATT 

$16,800 – Amount needed to be fully funded for 2020. 

 

 4. BOWERS, JOHN & DIANA Project

$25,000 per tour, with multiple tours scheduled for 2020.  We want all of the funds raised from performances to go to their charities (because of need.) We fund all the additional tour expenses - in country transportation (renting buses), equipment rental and required hiring of sound company employees, hall rental, publicity and so forth.

 

 5. BROWN, JUSTIN & SHANNON Support

$4,200 – Amount needed to be fully funded for 2020 (shortage of $350 per month)

 

6. EBERSOLE, RUSS & MELODY Project

$35,000 for the pediatric benevolence fund  to help indigent families who have "big" bills because of critical illnesses. It is also used to pay for chemotherapy treatment of children with cancer.  Also usedto treat the children of our pastors. Finally, the account is used to purchase pediatric medications, especially chemotherapy and specialized antibiotics not available in Togo.

 

7.  JENKINS, JIM & KATHIE Support

$24,000 – Amount of support needed for 2020 (2,000 per month)  

 

8.  COUPLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST Support

$25,000 – Our newest workers need one time gifts to get them to the field.  

 

9.   MARRONE, DOM & DAMARIS and TOWNSEND, KEITH Project

$40,000 Our missionaries are partnering together to purchase materials and renovate the ground floor space for the  La Roca Pamplona ministry center.   It will be used for youth, college and family outreach,  offerer both English and Spanish classes, and cultural adaption classes. It will be a dedicated as a place of worship, teaching of the Word and discipleship classes throughout the week. 

 

10.  P. GINGER Support

$6,672 needed to be fully funded for 2020  ($556 monthly)

 

11.  ULLUM, TIM & ANDREA Support

$6,360 needed to be fully supported for 2020.  

 

12. WHORTON, JIM & CHRISTY Project

$2,500 per Training Group - Many churches lack the resources to and opportunities to teach their members the biblical principles of handling money. One solution is the organization  of church leadership study groups, comprised of  denominationally diverse churches to study, and share different teaching methods. They in turn would equip their congregations with Biblical principles to develop financial disciples and disciple makers.

 

13. CFC/EAST-WEST INDIA PARTNERSHIP Project $10,000 needed to send evangelists and church planters into another area of the Punjab, India region. This cost also covers bibles and discipleship materials.

At the Eleven22 - Arlington Campus (651 Commerce Center Dr #100, Jacksonville, FL 32225).  

 

Starts August 10th for15 weeks on Monday’s 6:30-9p.  

 

There will be a “Come and See” introduction night on July 27th (two weeks before the start).  

 

Price still TBD but is usually close to $300  (childcare available for an extra charge).

WHAT IS A CFC SENDING TEAM?

 

An unlimited-size group consisting of anyone from CFC who desires to partner with a CFC Missionary to send and keep them on the mission field.Teams do this by meeting with their missionary quarterly (via video if needed)to determine what needs they have and works together to meet those needs. These can include financial, physical and/or spiritual.

 

What are the Expectations of a Sending Team Member?

 

1. Commit to 1 year or 1 mission term minimum

2.  Attend quarterly team meetings

3. Pray for your missionary

4. Correspond regularly with your missionary (Suggestion: At least once every 2 months)

5. Work to create an atmosphere where your missionary feels safe and comfortable to share personally with the team.  

6. Be available to provide practical care for your missionary.  

7. Attend an annual Sending Teams Gathering at CFC

 

Steps to Join a Sending Team


1.   Prayerfully review all CFC Missionaries on our cfcjax.com/global-impact page, the Missionary Notebook or the Missionary Prayer Cards.


2.   Choose 1 or more CFC Missionaries you are interested in and contact them to visit their next Sending Team meeting


3.   Visit Sending Teams with no obligation to join


4.   When ready to join a team, simply inform the missionaries of your intent and willingness to fulfill the expectations for at least one year.
